The Recipe Story
Dal Tadka is a traditional dish prepared in all Indian homes. Dal or lentil has always been our staple food and we include it in our diet regularly. Dal-rice is a comfort food and prepared and savoured daily in all Indian homes. Dal Tadka is made with arhar dal or masoor dal or a mix of dals. It is tempered with oil/ghee and spices and herbs.
